MYTHOLOGY MIRRORS

DIRECTIONS: You will select one of the gods or goddesses from the Greek Mythology List below. You will illustrate this god/goddess and relate them to a modern person who represents similar things.

For example, you might select Aphrodite. On an A4 piece of paper (or larger if you choose) you will use the left hand side of the paper to draw your impression of Aphrodite. In the right hand frame you will choose your modern equivalent of Aphrodite, e.g. maybe a modern female vocalist famous for love songs. Below the pair you will write a detailed explanation of the relationship between the two.

Olympian Gods: Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hestia, Hera, Aris, Athena, Apollo, Aphrodite, Hermes, Artemis, Hephaestus

Other Gods: Demeter, Persephone, Dionysus, Eros, Hebe, Eris, Helios, Thanatos, Pan, Nemesis, The Graces, The Muses, The Erinnyes, The Fates
